The botanical gardens offer a beautiful and peaceful retreat in the heart of downtown Atlanta. This is one of Jack and Taylor's favorite places to see Christmas lights every year.
The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the United States and is one of Taylor's favorite places to visit! The Georgia Aquarium has much to offer from exploring the murky waters of river aquatic life and strolling under the belly of a whale shark in their oceanic underwater tunnel to getting up close and personal with penguins and more!
If you are a baseball fan, looking for a fun sports bar to catch a game and nice meal, or even see a movie, then the Battery is the place to be! Located about 20 minutes outside of Atlanta, The Battery is a social hub surrounding Truist Park where there is something for everybody. Taylor and Jack have attended multiple Braves baseball games at Truist Park and love spending time in the Battery before each game.
Jack and Taylor love putting their brains together to solve an escape room in under 60 minutes! There are plenty of escape rooms throughout and around Atlanta, but this location is one of their favorites. For all of you Harry Potter fans, their Harry Potter themed escape room is challenging and full of magic!
If you are looking to spend some time outdoors, then Kennesaw Mountain is the place for you! There are multiple hiking trails and a nice field to have a picnic or throw a frisbee. Furthermore, that field is where a Civil War Atlanta Campaign battle took place. Fun Fact: Jack helped maintain some of the trails on the mountain in high school!
Located right next door to the St. Regis, the Atlanta History Center offers a fascinating and detailed insight into more than just the construction of Atlanta. From Atlanta's oldest farmhouse and multiple gardens to exhibits showcasing the history of sports, military, and artists in the Atlanta area, the Atlanta History Center has much to offer for anyone!
Located just East of Atlanta and known for having the world's largest exposed granite pluton, Stone Mountain is the perfect place for outdoor activities. They have multiple hiking trails with varying difficulty, a scenic railroad, a skyline to take you to the top of the mountain, and a variety of recreational activities including golf, kayaking, and more!
Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, Centennial Olympic Park offers not only a look into the 1996 Olympics held in Atlanta, but also a nice green space for relaxation and fun sites to see such as the interactive Fountain of Rings and SkyView Atlanta, a 20-story ferris wheel that provides scenic views. It is also located right next door to the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coke.
Ponce City Market is a popular location for Atlanta natives and tourists as you can find anything to do. Not only is it connected to the Atlanta BeltLine, but there are multiples shops, restaurants, and an abundance of games including mini-golf and views from the rooftop SkyLine Park.
